Classification: Voiced dental (weak) Fricative

Notes: /D/ may be a burst in syllable-initial position, but tends to show frication in syllable-final position. If present, the frication will be above 3000 Hz; by contrast the similar-looking /th/ will have loci at 2800 Hz.
