Real World Benchmarks
The chart below represents rough and informal measures of the frame rates that we have seen for Baldi and the Fluent rendering engine on computers that we've managed to get our grubby paws on. For Baldi, we use Baldi Sync with a TTS prompt of "this is a test". The Fluent speed is that which is achieved for the canned "Welcome to Fluent Speech Technologies" file that is included with the renderer. All of the listed values are in approximate frames per second.

Baldy Bench
This is a suite of tests from UCSC that determines how well a specific machine runs Baldi. All results are in frames per second, rounded to the nearest frame. Some explanations of what these things mean will appear soon. Faster is always better!
