I am a faculty member in the Center for Spoken Language Understanding (CSLU) and Program of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of the Division of Biomedical Computer Science (BMCS) of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

Previous positions
For three years, from 2001-2004, I was in the Speech Algorithms Department at AT&T Labs - Research. In 2001, I finished my Ph.D. in the Department of Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences at Brown University. There I was part of the Brown Laboratory for Linguistic Information Processing.
- I am co-organizing the First Workshop on Speech and Language Processing for Assistive Technologies (SLPAT), to be held in Los Angeles following NAACL-HLT in June, 2010.
