Business arrangements
- Corporate membership
Our new corporate membership program provides
corporations with corpora and software tools for commercial use, with consultation,
and with other benefits. Membership fees are flexible and depend
on the size of the corporation and on whether only corpora or also tools
and consultation services are needed.
- Sponsored research
Sponsored research allows a corporation to define the direction of
a longer-term research project. In doing so, the sponsoring corporation
can create a research and development basis on which subsequent more product
oriented projects can be built.
- Contract research
Contract research involves shorter time tables and more
specific deliverables than sponsored research. A range of levels
of exclusivity are available.
- Joint development
A collaboration in which CSLU produces a working product prototype
that is subsequently, with consultation from CSLU, embedded in the final
product by the corporate customer. Again, various levels of exclusivity
are available.
- Consultant services
A corporation may opt for services provided by individual members of
the CSLU team, or obtain consultation services through a sponsored or contract
research arrangement.
- Partial payment in equity is now available to certain classes of
corporations.
